Spanish ruling party calls for U.N. recognition of Palestinian state

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Spanish ruling socialist party on Tuesday fully supported the proposal of President Mahmud Abbas on recognition of independent Palestinian State by United Nations.
    
 The secretary for International policies and cooperation of the party Elna Valensino report released Tuesday said that the time is ripe now to recognize an independent Palestinian state to facilitate the peace process in the occupied land.

She said the proposal must be accepted at U.N. while the two disputing parties must go to negotiating table after 'a long period of failures and disappointments.'
